I still can't find an X1 image thread, so I'll use this one, since I shoot a lot with this camera. The following are shots taken while wandering around Vientiane, Laos, in December. None of them are going to be on a tourist brochure, but they do reflect the reality of a city where there is a lot of construction and demolition going on, as well as careful restoration of old French colonial buildings in the historic district. I found the buildings (and the graffiti) interesting visually, even in their desuetude. If you look closely at the first shot, you will notice that the upper facade is detaching and looks, frighteningly, like it is ready to fall off. Though I assumed it was stabilized, I tried to remember to cross the street when we walked by it, as we often did.
I do want the X type 113, but I don't think it will replace the X1, which slips easily into a pocket.
