For this shot, in a glen close to Bangor/North Wales I was using a Lumix m.4/3 Full Spectrum conversion, with a Heliopan 780nm external filter, to allow me a little less hard contrast than a full 830nm filter (my favourite filter), as the lighting was filtering through a large tree to the right. This change of filter would give me, more subtle mid-tones, whilst keeping the shaded areas visible

I think it fair to say that shooting in IR, it is too easy, just to take images of trees and foliage without a contrasted focal point. I find images of just trees ect on their own in a group can at times look far too 'cluttered'.

The image was edited in PS6, and framed in Nik filters.
