Nikon Showcase The Nikon V1 goes on a late evening stroll!

This weekend I realized I haven't shot with my Nikon 1 cameras lately. So I decided to take out the Nikon V1 + 18.5mm 1.8 lens for an evening stroll! Despite owning far more advanced FF DSLR/MILC cameras, there's an immense satisfaction nailing shots with the V1 that I don't get from any other camera! The raws when shot at their sweet spot, just sing to me! The nice thing about the V1, is that it's so light you can just have the camera strap around your neck tourista style!

My dream Nikon 1 body/lenses would be the V1 combined with the J5, equipped with 5-axis IBIS, fast OSPDAF and a 14.5mm 1.8 and a 6.7mm 2.8 prime lens combo! That would be the greatest street setup ever!

Very nice shots! And yes, the V1 is still a wonderful little tool, even though, like you, I'd've loved a little more choice with the system. However, the V1 with two primes (10mm and 18.5mm) makes a supremely compact, yet surprisingly versatile kit. Keep them coming!

I bring the V1 or J5 around when I don't feel like hauling a big camera, but want to enjoy the editing and raw process. Plus my smartphone doesn't have the best camera, but I don't feel like upgrading anytime soon!
