This is the oldest continuously occupied street in Europe and has had people living in it since the 1600's, it is in Wells, Somerset in the UK and has a real feeling of heritage and history when walking down the cobbled street.

As someone who spent his professional life as a town planner, I love this - it's pretty much the essence of what we've been trying to get back to ever since. And as a photographer, I love this too. Great work, as usual Ian.

Thank you all for the kind comments, Wells has a very famous, long standing and exclusive school "Wells Cathedral School" and the houses are used as residences for members of staff, clergy from the Cathedral as well as some of the senior pupils - not a bad place to live but only for the affluent!
