Dear Friends, I have been away for weeks, because our beloved cat Osho died suddenly and we have been inconsolable.

The first iris in our garden blossomed that day (before she died) and I intended to take a photo of it, but when we got back from the vet without her, it had completely deteriorated and was ripped apart (like my heart).

I took this picture the next day of a different flower and I think it's appropriate for her memory.

Starting to feel a bit better now...peace.​

Our sincere condolences to you and your family, CaGs.

Our dearly beloved companion creatures are every bit as much a part of our families as the human members.

A year and a half later, we still mourn for Lizzie and Rosa, even though they had very long, healthy lives for pussycats at 21.5 y.o.

Our thoughts are with you all.
