We are having very disruptive building alterations done and it's upsetting to all of us and especially the cats.

Cats can get very upset with any major things happening in their environment, Irene. They are extremely highly attuned to it.

Hope that your building works are finished satisfactorily soon, so that all your pussycats can go back to being their normal relaxed and indolent selves. (And you can get at your computer again ... ).
