Cats The Requisite Cat (Kitty) Photo thread

I've just re-read the copious vet reports she came with.

According to those, she was ~12 months old on 22 August 2024, so I have adjusted my birthday reminder in my phone to 22 August 2023.

It's really only an estimate by the veterinarians at the Australian Animal Protection Society, but is consistent with her development. The staff listed her as 9 months old, but that could relate to the date they got her, not her age when she was desexed, vaccinated, etc.

As she is currently sleeping next to my legs, I find it hard to believe that she is ours, and we are her people. She's just had a big wash, Saturday historically being "bath day" ... .

She is just the sweetest little girl, very well socialised and appears to have taken to her new home and people exceptionally well, as if she has been with us all her short life.

Tonight, she weighs 3.2 kgs.

I think that she was a bit on the light side when we got her, but she's eating everything we give her, and is now feeling better padded.

Thanks and yes - he's turning into quite a character. He's been with us almost 3 months now and I think he's starting to get the hang of how to twist us round his little paw
