We recently moved to a new neighbourhood. After a few days of hiding under the bed, Atom has started to relax and starting to explore the new neighbourhood at night.
Of course, also exploring the new house, inside and outside.
The new house has timber floorboards so it makes a lot of creaking noises when someone walks along somewhere else in the house. Atom had to get used to the new sounds. In the first couple of weeks, every sound made him sit up and look like this.
A few more photos:
LOL James, good to see the kids coping. Cats do so hate anything to change. I think they are all mildly autistic.
I kind of understand though. They were coasting along in life and then suddenly there are 6 burly guys stamping around the house ripping the place apart and putting everything into boxes, all Atom's hiding places are gone in one afternoon. And then he is 'kidnapped' into the loud noisy driving machine and trapped in there with us for 7 hours. And then suddenly we're in a completely new place, where another bunch of burly guys stamp around the house in reverse unpacking a bunch of boxes.
It was a traumatic experience!
