Ricoh The Ricoh GR image thread

Not sure if this fits here, but the other day while i was shooting i decided to try the intervalometer on the GR, this is what I got. SOOC. no post processing.

I saw one yesterday, actual unit... and finally understood why this should be in my daily bag. And the pics here are enough.

Once it enters a daily bag, it seldom comes out... except to be shot with... no other reason really. :)

Here are a few... can see more in my set here (GRDIII shots up front, GR shots nearer the end): GRDIII

Timber festival at dawn, Carnation WA, July 2013

i cannot believe I had forgotten about these, even after sending them to the festival organizer at his request... they've laid in slumber on my drive, much like this particular morning, walking about with the GR...

Well I've finally succumbed (thanks in no small part to this thread) and placed an order last night for my very own GR. Can't wait for it to get here!

Enjoy! The dang thing never leaves my bag. Had the GRDIII for a number of years before and it too was remarkable. I guess I'm a member of the "cult" now. It's a heck of a lot of camera sitting in the palm of your hand.

I received my GR this morning and I'm quite taken with it. It's so light! And the image quality is wonderful - the lens is sharp, the colours look great and the bokeh in some shots is surprisingly good considering this is a 28mm equivalent. I love that I can operate the camera with one hand and how easy it is to access key settings. One touch macro is a winner! I think this camera and I are going to get along very, very well.

A few shots from around the yard this morning, before I had to go charge the camera properly.
