I received my GR this morning and I'm quite taken with it. It's so light! And the image quality is wonderful - the lens is sharp, the colours look great and the bokeh in some shots is surprisingly good considering this is a 28mm equivalent. I love that I can operate the camera with one hand and how easy it is to access key settings. One touch macro is a winner! I think this camera and I are going to get along very, very well.

A few shots from around the yard this morning, before I had to go charge the camera properly.

aaahahahahah love the chook!!

We had a long weekend at the beach and I took my GR along with the DSLR kit. Despite the fact I'm still adjusting to the 28mm frame of view, I used the GR for about 95% of the weekend and loved every minute of it. Part of that is the novelty of having a new camera, but a lot of it is down to the fact that I now have beautiful image quality available in a camera that slips into my pocket and so is with me whenever I want it.

And a test of the interval composite feature - I would have liked to run this longer for clearer trails, but the sandflies were trying to (slowly) kill me, so I had to run!
