A most beautiful image, Louis.

I spent about 5 hours in Lightroom, CS and Nik software blending and creating a 3 image panorama of the edge of the City of London taken from the rooftop of 110 Fetter Lane (the Rolls Building) overlooking Fleet Street and beyond. All taken with the trusty Ricoh GR. Incidentally, there is a small area of moire in the aircon vents in one of the buildings, the first time I have seen that using this camera. Not worth correcting, btw.

There's no image overload - I check this thread every day, so I hope you and everyone else keeps posting.

The last of the Sarek shots. The landscape had opened up by this stage, leaving behind the mountains and crossing mostly alpine moors.

Generally speaking the Lapland trip was a bit of an experiment - undertaking quite a long journey through what I expected to be some amazing landscapes with such a basic kit (all I took was the GR and a lightweight Gitzo tripod) was intimidating at first. During the planning stage I ummed and ahhed constantly, and almost decided to take my EM5 kit at the last moment, before finally choosing to send it home with my partner.

In the end it was a liberating experience. I didn't have to spend a moment thinking about what gear to use, but rather became accustomed to seeing the landscape through a frame that by that stage I'd become very familiar with. Taking the GR from it's belt pouch, framing and shooting became a basic matter of muscle memory.

Did I miss some shots because I had nothing wider/longer? Probably... But I'm happy with the shots I came back with, and more importantly, I'm happy with the tale they tell :)
