As I understand it, it is the ferromagnetic compounds in some inks that cause the problems.
It took 3-4 days to get all the information required from my various heart surgeries before the Alfred Hospital would do an MRI of my brain, and my artificial mitral valve, pacemaker and pacemaker leads are all certified MRI compatible!
They needed to view the actual operation reports before they would do it!

When you have been through the process I have for implanted devices which are all certified as MRI compatible , one gets leery about things like this.
