This was the first GR70 trail marker we came across. It was in Le Puy-en-Velay at the start of the walk. We quickly learnt that consistent trail marking is not the French way.

Thank you, yes, that's my beloved Jeep. It carries my extra supply of oxygen and gets me to the landscape locations I prefer to shoot - and to urban scenes too.

An image of what was once. The Visitors Centre and the building that housed it are no longer [2020]; demolished to make way for the new City of Fremantle administration building as part of the redevelopment of what is currently known as Kings Square in Fremantle.
The ugliness of modern architecture is blisteringly attractive.
I could not withstand the impulse to soften the image to remove that ruggedness.
People need a place to live in, but........?
Premier Music Centre no more. This commercial building at 30 Queen Street has been vacant for several years now. Apparently, a development plan for a five-story building on the site had been approved but has now lapsed.
