Success. Test roll came back and there are no light leaks, the meter works, ev comp works, all three lenses seem to work very very well. As predicted, the zoom is much less contrasty and wonderful the longer it gets, but in macro mode it's damned decent. Almost the whole roll is uploaded to flickr but here are a few of the better ones.

Pine Green fake leather kit came in. Pretty great for $14. You can see where I didn't get it perfect in one spot, but I was trying to also entertain a 3 year old while I did it.
