We'd like to try and keep the sample image archive threads as useful as possible. For example, if someone wants to know what the images look like from a 35mm Summilux aspherical, first version, they don't benefit from seeing images mixed in from pre-aspherical and aspherical FLE versions of the lens, which render differently.

We're going to go through the existing threads and re-title them. If one of your posts has an image from a lens version other than the one for the thread, please PM a mod, and we'll move it to a new theread.

When starting new threads in the sample archive section, please be specific!

Also, please use the following order: Brand, Focal length, f-number, descriptor

Eg: Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux ASPH, not Leica Summilux 50mm f/1.4 ASPH or Leica M-Summilux 50mm f/1.4 asph.

Eg: Zeiss 35mm f/2.0 Biogon ZM or Zeiss 35mm f/2.0 ZM Biogon, not Zeiss ZM 35mm f/2.0 Biogon or Zeiss ZM 2/35 Biogon.

This ordering may not seem "right" but it helps keep things easy to find on the index page since they will be ordered by brand and focal length.

Are photographs taken with Leica lenses on non-Leica bodies acceptable? (eg: I have a GXR).
