Took out two of my fastest lenses today - the Voigtländer 23mm f/1.2 for Z DX and the Voigtländer 40mm f/1.2 for Z FX. Even though they're surprisingly different in terms of handling, I love shooting both of them - but I think the 40mm is actually even more desirable because it's optically slightly superior (nice though the 23mm is). However, the 23mm is actually a bit more versatile due to its FoV and super-small MFD - and it allowed me to take today's shot.
Tomorrow, I'll finally be able to try out something else I'm quite interested in: I've already mounted the new Z 26mm f/2.8 pancake on the Z fc. I'm a bit surprised by the somewhat split reactions the lens has received so far - from what I've seen so far, it *is* optically better than its Z 28mm stablemate in some appreciable ways, especially in terms of LoCA, and that's no small feat for such a small lens that's also wider. Maybe people had unreasonable expectations again? Well, we'll see ...
