Three months after Gabrielle there's still quite a bit of silt around. These cracks about 4 - 6 inches deep. Every time it rains it gets all slimy and horrible again, then just dries out to this.

Backyard shot, about 30 minutes ago.
According to the weather forecast, we are in for plenty of fresh snow...
We habitually destroys the last patches of snow in the first two weeks of May, and the last date I have needed to scrape the windshield on the car before going to work is May 20th, but that was an outlier and its been just once. This may very well be an outlier, but now it buggers me and I got a bout of weather sickness, and have had for the last 6 weeks or so.
