After spending nearly a week in Mexico City, I'm now back in my adopted home state of Oregon... and one of the things I miss most is the abundance of superb small taquerías, or taco stands. One of my favorites in Mexico was 'Tacos Orinoco', a chain of small Taco restaurants, originally from the Mexican state of Monterrey, that has acquired near-cult status due to their delicious specialties (including tacos al pastor, literally shepherd's style tacos). But one of the things I like most about Orinoco is their logo - a stylized taco with an upside-down cow's head & feet protruding upwards. I even bought myself an Orinoco baseball cap...
