When I was at university (starting 1969) there was a slogan around: "Unterm Pflaster liegt der Strand." (Underneath the pavement lies the beach.) This view was an immediate reminder.
I forgot how enjoyable it is to take pictures with the little Fuji X-E2. And the pancake-y 27mm lens is both a perfect fit for it, and a focal length I've come to appreciate. (If I'm not mistaken, it's quite close to the field of view of the GRIIIx... which makes me understand the appeal of that little Ricoh more.)
