For the record, the "afterthought" quote is a reference to and a reminder of the ongoing situation in Ukraine.
Anyhow, welcome - the purpose of the challenge is to try for an unbroken sequence of posting days as long as you can keep it up; the only rule: Images must be taken on the day they're posted to (posting later - e.g. if you're traveling or are otherwise off-grid - is possible as long as this rule is maintained).
Today 1633 means that we've been going for 1633 days to date, some or even most of us continually, some with minor breaks for various good reasons.
