Overcoming my OCD ((straight) lines) to at least keep things going ...

Not the best of days, to put it mildly - several friends and colleagues (as well as people on this forum) suffering from major issues and breakdowns; I'm still (though not for much longer, fortunately) on emergency standby should the need to support someone in person arise in earnest. But I have to get my head down soon since tomorrow's already promising to become pretty challenging again.

Life's a ... Let's not go there.

Again one of these situations where the option of giving two (or more) emojis would be appreciated (give the hint to Kevin, please). I wanted to respond first with the emoji to your situation described, showing my compassion.

But the second emoji needed is a wow😯.
Somehow this photo just fascinates me, got me hooked.
There is a certain je ne sais quoi in this work-station depicted. Your lap-top (pushed) out of focus in the background, just as bokeh, and one of your favourite (new) toys lingering in between being present and being not-so-present in perfect low-key in the foreground, kept in mystery as to its specific features except for the still exceptionally beautiful brand-name.

The biggest snowstorm of the year in Southern Oregon started happening this morning... 5 or 6 inches and still falling.
To go outside one must first put on boots and mittens and hat and heavy jacket.
But the my avian neighbours are busy, searching through the snow and the melted spots for tasty treats.
