This by way of being sort of a preview ... My only worthwhile image from the short playing around with the Fujifilm GFX100RF that I had to resize to about 40% of its original resolution just to be able to upload it (though I haven't tested the limits - maybe @Kevin can tell us more).

The camera made it (almost too) easy to forget you where shooting with such a high resolution sensor - and the shutter is so quiet that I was fooled a couple of times into thinking I hadn't pressed the shutter properly. It's a marvel ... But you all know what that means, alas.

Thankfully (sarcasm!), at the moment, trying to save money, let alone invest, isn't working anyway; might as well spend some.

It should accept most anything up to 50MB file size, when I'm back at my laptop I'll check to see what the max pixels is set to (there are restrictions by both file size & pixel count).

Big directly uploaded attachments shouldn't be an issue, they'll get resized down to 1600x1600, but I thought I had the settings high enough to handle most SOOC images but now I need to go back & check.

The file's humonguos - it's a >38MP JPEG after post processing; I think the original is even bigger.

But it's as always: If you drive a system to its limits, glitches become common. I'm aware of the resizing, too - and I'm fine with it. It's very well suited for day-to-day viewing. If I want to present bigger files, I either use Flickr or my personal server (though I'm not able to maintain the latter as an image cloud - I don't want to sync everything, and curating takes too much time, so I'm basically procrastinating ...).

Cool camera Matt! Congrats. Looking forward to seeing your results with it.

Sorry to distract from the Today thread (wasn't sure the best place to ask) but could you try uploading your original SOOC JPG again from the GFX100RF? It should still get resized down to 1600 along the edge but it shouldn't (hopefully) give an error message about being too big.
