Winter is coming, brought the GM5 with the 20mm f:1.7 on a short hike today, around dawn time. It is getting dark quite early up here these days. Have had a cold spell going on the last few days, so things starts to get properly frozen over and I think its time to bring out the spikes. Headlamp was brought for the possibility of loosing the light before returning home, but I cut it somewhat short instead.
Thanks Moonmind, I think I have entered earlier as well, but I tend somewhat to shoot in periods and then some periods of hiatus, so I shall see how it fares this time around.
Before dawn early this morning, I had to drive across the Cascade mountain range, to the small city of Klamath Falls, to take a friend and relative to the Amtrak train station there. As I neared the town, the quality of light struck me so I pulled off the highway and took this photo.

Sorry friends, I'm forced to have a break ... just a normal flu with the usual temperature rise, coughing and the nose running a marathon.
