I went to see the new Spider-Man movie last night with a friend. The theatre had plenty of room to spread out, which made me feel a bit better because this is my first trip to the theater since the pandemic began. I really enjoyed the movie.
On a long 'bird walk', through forested wetlands in southern Oregon, one of my fellow walkers and 'birders' is a fine and experienced wildlife photographer, Henry De La Torre - who was lugging a serious Canon DSLR with a massive telephoto lens, on a tripod. He got some very fine shots with it, as well. I snapped this shot of him with my tiny semi-pocketable Fujifilm X30, which truly seemed like a toy next to his gear.
