Sorry for dropping the ball, guys - I think I even prepared something yesterday, but outright forgot to post it ... I had one heck of a busy week and was very tired yesterday, so things just kind of happened (or didn't, respectively). Many thanks for stepping in, Miguel - and wonderful choice of music (enlightening, too - I only knew the CCR version)!

Hardly any time for photography today, either ... but I still found this sight quite amusing:

My neighbor, the blue jay, has had a busy day, squawking and occasionally flying down to harass visiting cats and drive them away from the vicinity of his nest. He's taking a break here, in the branches of a tall, overhanging tree.

Great shot, Steve.
It's simple, minimalistic, almost reminds me of a handful of great modern paintings.
And at the risk of repeating myself, I keep thinking that you are doing great work with your (relatively new) GRIIIx.
