An image that evokes cherished childhood memories. We discovered these iconic soup cans on a recent deep dive into our pantry.

But after consulting the bottom of the cans, we decided these are getting flushed today, whether cherished or not. Sorry, Andy!

That is proper fresh! Digging down in the crate of MREs I have not eaten when out and about, I found and ate one with a best before date in 2003, last spring. It was not bad, just a bit bland tasting.
