Inadvertently continuing Walter's visual theme of Santa-Claus Christmas imagery, a lady in the checkout line at the supermarket had an intriguing bit of head gear...and was delighted when I asked her if I could take a picture of it. Lovely photo, Steve.

I watched a documentary about fungi a few days ago. Apparently, some 1.4 million species have been identified, and their estimate was that this is only about 10% of all species extant. They also stated that fungi date back about 2.4 million BILLION years. (sorry folks, brain fart!)
