Had some great spring weather the other night, so headed out for 3 hours of pounding the pavement doing some street shooting. Had b&w in mind.

Really nice set. I have this funny idea that "street shooting" is supposed to involve people in the shots, but that's MY problem, not yours! These are really damn fine whatever anyone wants to call them...

This is a semi-bizarre comment. Beyond the snappy, well-composed images, I love how "clean" the blacks are. Did you do anything special to achieve that?

I just watch my histogram during the conversion. I also enlarge the image to 100% when I do noise reduction.
