Announcement Twitter Login will be disabled Feb 5, 2023

Code Monkey 🐒
When joining our community new members have the choice of creating an account with a local password, of using their Google account to join, of using their GitHub account to join, or using their Twitter account to join. The Twitter login feature will be disabled this coming Sunday, Feb 5, 2023, late in the evening.

For accessing Cameraderie after that members using the Twitter Login feature will need to use the 'Reset Password' link to set a local password.

I will be sending a PM to our members that are currently utilizing the feature to make sure that they are aware of this change.

For our members who follow tech news, the answer is "Yes", it is as a result of the latest Twitter policy change. 😲

Information about the newest change can be read at the link below.

EDIT: For our community members who are using the Twitter login option, please click the link below to set a new password. If you are already using a password when logging into Cameraderie then you do not have to do anything else since it means that you originally created your account using the Twitter login but have since then updated your account with a local password.

A bit silly to announce a monetised policy change without setting out a schedule of fees.
Yep, it's been annoying a lot of tech folks this week. Just 5 days notice of change that will break a rather big amount of apps and integrations and no information provided to what the new pricing tiers will cost. As of the moment there is still no information available about the change, only the one tweet from the Twitter Dev account.
