Leica Updating firmware on X Vario?

Well, the internet is a dangerous place. After reading some blogs and reviews about the X Vario, and being very impressed with my recently purchased D-Lux Type 109, I decided a little retail therapy was in order. I placed an order for an X Vario with the Visoflex, which arrived yesterday. I see there's a firmware update for it but I'm having difficulty with it. The instructions say to download the update, unzip it, and copy it to an SD card. Did all that. Then it says to insert the SD card into the camera and turn it on while pressing the Info button. It should bring me to the firmware update menu but it doesn't. What am I doing wrong?

I need to write some code to DO firmware updates for an embedded computer. It's not easy!

I had tucked the download into a subfolder on the SD card. You need to copy it into the top level Leica folder, not one of the subfolders.
