Fuji Vello Sync + EF-20 Makes for a very Portable Flash Setup

Covey22

Hall of Famer
I had been looking for a Fuji-compatible TTL synch cord for a while now, and was clued into a Vello OCS-3 for Canon. The pinouts on the hotshoe line up perfectly with my XT-10. With an 18-55, this all fits very nicely into a Lowepro Adventura TLZ 20 II case which hardly weighs anything compared to my previous setups. The Vello is robust, the hotshoe adaptor on top of the camera has a push-button safety - once you turn the lever to the right, only pushing the button can allow you to turn the lever to the left and release the adaptor. And while the EF-20 is tiny, it's perfect for the range of shots you can get with the zoom, from wide to tele and everything in between. I actually have to turn the power down on the flash to prevent blow-outs.
