Video: Making of the Nokton 25mm f/0.95

Just saw this a moment ago, a very interesting (IMO) video showing the making of the micro Four-Thirds Nokton f/0.95.

Personally, I was surprised to see so much manual labour, I thought Cosina production would be more automised (therefore allowing them to produce lenses cheaper).

The video has been aroun for a little while and is a great insight into low volume lens assembly. I would expect all the machining and glass grinding etc. is highly automated using computer controlled eqipment but final assembly is by hand.

Whatever Cosina is doing, they are doing it well to get such a good quality small volume lens to the market for the price.
