Gorgeous spring day today, there was a Vintage Rally on down on the peninsula that one of the blokes from work told me was on. Fabulous day out. Interesting machinery, & interesting people to converse with. Thoroughly enjoyable day. I'll add to the thread, as I finish editing shots, the motorcycle racing is on at the minute, so yeah, priorities :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I call this one patience

This was fabulous. Dangerous as all get out -I was waiting for it to bind up & jam, jump out of the log, go charging across the field & start chewing someone's leg off. Awesome. Didn't happen while I was there, I'll be bitterly disappointed if I hear it did after I left

Austin 7 I think. I remember as a kid getting a ride to school with my Grandma in one. Hers was a little later model, with the indicators that popped out of the door pillars :)

And this is why I love my ultrawides. Cars are pretty tightly packed in, yet you can still squeeze in between, isolate your subject & still get context. Much fun. Another towie, 251 cuber flathead Dodge. Very nicely done

Meet James. All 98cc of Villiers 2 stroke of him. Sorry about the framing, was leaning over the fence, at full stretch, with the fully articulated screen bent around at a weird angle, pretty much guessing at the framing. Not too bad I thought

Fantastic series. And decent weather
Is that Austin a 7?

Love that early tow truck. Preston from Geelong! That would cause some interesting conversations

Look forward to the next round

Yeah, pretty sure it is. And my memory failed me as well. It was an Austin A30 my grandmother used to drive us to school in, after my Mum died. I still vividly remember her wrestling with the manual gear shift, almost as if it had some personal vendetta against her, that she was fighting back against 😂😂😂
