I've been chasing scratched or broken glass and the colour red for inspiration this month. Despite going for a long walk at lunch time yesterday, with life buzzing around me with lots of opportunity, I didn't even take my camera out of my bag. Sometimes it's just nice to walk, listen to music and watch the world pass by. You know that just means I didn't see anything worth shooting!! So my offering for yesterday is just another shot from Sunday's walk when I was click happy.

An early stage in the evolution of bowling balls.

Actually, I wonder how the boulder ended up there. Those indentations are usually on relatively horizontal surfaces. They were used for grinding acorns by early native people.
