Girlfriend's mantel. Featuring part of her typewriter collection. We were snowed in. First snow in 233 days. Odd for Colorado.

Thank you kindly! She has quite a nice collection of them. She's a painter, so they are scattered between paintings and other art objects in her lovely mid-century modern artist's loft home.I love this shot, Walter.
Nice typewriter, too.
I especially like the older manual typewriters - the same level of craftsmanship as older manual cameras. Metalwork and artistic design are things of the past now, but I hope someday in the future, dome young person falls in love the the exquisite design of a good field camera, or the ornamentation of old cars. Things where human achievement was expressed in beautiful design. As someone who typed papers on an old manual Royal, I respect her collecting tendencies. Typewriters are such nifty machines.
Those two body cap lenses that Olympus made were surprisingly good. I keep thinking of getting one again to put on my "antique" E-PM1.Day 5 - Blew the dust off my Olympus BodyCap fisheye today and haven't stopped smiling since.

Feels like home.Day 7
A bit cold today and I wanted to get a 20mm and 25mm shot so I put my 12-45 on so I didn't have to change lenses in the cold and dark. I prefer the 20mm for this one. Even wider probably would have been better, but I was trying to at least stay to the 20mm & 25mm focal lengths.
