Day 15, first of what I hope to be a 2 part shoot. It was just too cold today, but tomorrow I'm going to try and get down near the ice on the stream tomorrow. Though I'll probably use the 12-45 at 20 & 25 again. This is right near my house, I drove by today, I'll more than likely walk over tomorrow but I'm sure I won't really want to be changing lenses when I get there.

Day 16, still cold (20 F or -6 C) so I took out the the cold weather kit. The shot at 20mm is a little better, but if I had noticed when shooting I probably could have gotten a better angle that would have made up for the wider angle a bit better.

It is 21 F here in Lexington. Virginia is southern during the summer but mid-atlantic during the winter.

Day 16: Hiking around Emigrant Lake, a man-made lake in the foothills of the southern Oregon Cascade mountain range. Due to ongoing drought and global-warming-induced low levels of snowpack melt, the water levels are historically low.
