Sony Vivitar 28mm with NEX adapter on eBay

I use a Vivitar lens (70-210) and adapter with my NEX sometimes. I like it, it makes me feel like I'm actually "doing" photography as opposed to the kit lens where I feel I have a glorified point and shoot. (that's not what I really think but it is how I feel, if that makes sense). I also use the adapter for a canon 35-70 lens which I just love. That's what I use the vast majority of the time.

Others have already posted about these types of set ups - I think the latest thread was something like "bang for the buck" with a funky wee retro lens.

What have you got to lose?

I have two Minolta/Vivitar lenses that I keep on my NEX unless I am planning on shooting action requiring auto focus.

The closest to that one is a slightly younger 28mm. I keep this one on the most and love it.

I love my Canon FD 24 2.8 on the Nex.
Now with the peaking, it's a gas....

Have you tried side by side test shots with FD 24mm and the sony zoom at 24 & same apertures?

I'm just getting started on evaluating my FD's on the NEX.
