Fuji Voigtländer Nokton 35mm f/1.2 for Fuji X-Mount

Very excited about this new release from Cosina and knowing further lenses with native X mount will be on the pipeline.

As good as Fuji lens are optically, their handling is a bit lacking (this applies to most manufacturers) if one is used to metallic and “mechanical” lenses. Using adaptors always has its shortcomings, so this might make me appreciate the system much more.

Glad I haven’t pull the trigger yet on 20mm Mkii as this looks like a much better option for me.

Native Voigtlander lenses on the X mount system is a big deal, given so many Fuji users (me included when I had one) adapt voigtlander lenses. The F mount Nokton 58mm F1.4 was just magnificent when attached to my XT1.

Das Nokton 35mm F1.2 X wurde exklusiv für den Fuji APS-C Sensor entwickelt und optimal darauf abgestimmt. Die Brennweite entspricht an Fuji APS-C Kameras etwa 53mm und bietet damit eine äußerst vielfältige Bandbreite an Einsatzmöglichkeiten. Eine hohe Lichtstärke von F1.2 gewährleistet ein enormes Freistellungspotential mit der Möglichkeit einer besonders plastischen Detailwiedergabe, darüber hinaus ist ein äußerst sanft verlaufendes Bokeh obligatorisch.
