Leica Showcase Voigtlander 35/1.7 Ultron Aspheric (Cosina)

Brian

Product of the Fifties
One of my favorite lenses. This is one of the original four lenses introduced with the Bessa R in 2000.

On the M9 at Pilot's Day, Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum. Pilot's Day is scheduled to be the Saturday before Father's Day. COINCIDENCE! I don't think so!

My 35mm f/1.7 Ultron is practically welded to my Epson R-D1, but sometimes I use it with a film LTM

Flak 38

I've had my R-D1 for over 4 years now (serial number 13xx) , it's gotten a little sticky but still gets the job done. The original Epson Battery still works fine. I had to replace a few of the aftermarket batteries.

Fantastic shot- I like the "Signal corp" Logo. My Uncle was in the Signal Corp during WW-II, worked on some great films. Like "Why We Fight".

I got to hang around the Somme area for 10 days earlier this month, acting like a Combat Camera Unit from the 165th Signal Photo Company, following some 140 men and 25 vehicles around equipped like the Second Armored division. More pictures soon ;)
