I think this lens is plenty sharp. I don't know why people criticise it for not being sharp enough. Keeping in mind I was shooting at 1/60 shutter speed so there will be a tiny bit of motion blur in these shots.

Albeit I sharpened these photos in post, but I do that for other lenses too.

All these were shot wide open at f/1.1.

This is the most under-valued and under-appreciated lens that can be bought new. I have two Canon 50/0.95's. Not worth converting them to RF coupled M-Mount with this lens available at just over $1000 new and $800 used. I bought the Canons when they were $200.
 
I agree Brian, I really like this lens.

But still I am considering getting the Canon 50 0.95 for some more "artistic" and experimental use, let me know if you would like to sell me one of yours!:D
 
I'll put up a gallery with the Canon 50/0.9 used on Film. Having one converted professionally runs $350 or so. It's an amazing lens- "Crazy Bokeh", one day I will probably convert one of them myself. Will think of you if I put one up.
