With the K-1 II and the HD FA 31 LTD. I needed to remind myself what the Limited lenses are capable of. They elevate what are really snapshots to another level, with what Pentaxians call "pixie dust." Some editing done via Lightroom 6, nothing fancy.

A bit of what Robin Wong calls "shutter therapy." Sometimes when GAS rears its ugly head, I have to remind myself that I am sitting on so much capability which I am not using to its full potential. Not that it altogether removes GAS, but it may direct it towards some of the other Limited lenses.

Nice work and I love the selfie variant.

... I have to remind myself that I am sitting on so much capability which I am not using to its full potential.
I was reminded of this just this morning when I ran into a photographer carrying two cameras at this morning's Donut Derelict car meet. I commented on how he must be a real photographer since he had two cameras around his neck. He told me one camera was carrying a wide lens so he didn't have to keep it in his pocket, the other had a tele-lens on it.
I need to appreciate the gear I have and make better use of it.
When I told him my 24-105 does both of those jobs he said he wasn't that rich. I told him I wasn't rich either, just lucky.

Thanks for sharing your walk in the woods and for the idea of how to take a nice selfie too.
