Spent part of the afternoon yesterday wandering around West Oakalnd looking for urbex....

The rail station at 16th Street used to be a major transportation hub for the city; it is now abandoned and derelict.

This triangular building reminds me of the Flatiron building in NYC.

The entire side of this building is painted in incredible detail as a train. This portion of the wall is the rail engine. Interestingly, there is virtually no graffiti on this wall. Even the "bombers" didn't want to tag it.

This wall is part of a habitat constructed on an abandoned city block.

This west wall of an abandoned warehouse has been tagged with some beautiful graffitti. I love that there's grass growing on the roof.
