Film What is the significance of "slight haze"?

One of those shots of the front element looks fairly 'ghostly' to me. I'd probably give it a miss. Japan has a lot of cool gear but its also humid/tropical - any hint of haze/fungus generally puts me off.

On a positive note I did see some EX rated OM 100mm & 135mm f2.8 glass over at KEH - you could get two for the price of the 85 if you don't mind a tighter crop :)

I'm actually a little shocked at what the 85's are going for now . . .

OM 100 is tempting. Maybe I should go that route. But I'd probably want the f/2.0 .

After doing a lot of research on the OM 85/2, 100/2.8, and 100/2, I ended up buying the OM 90/2 macro, which I hadn't even been considering. The samples just won me over, and one of my trusted Ebay sellers (matsuiyastore) had a great copy.

I think my main walkaround film kit is going to be - Leica MP with 35/1.4 and Olympus OM-4T with 90/2 macro.

I sold my Leica 90/2.5 to buy the Olympus 90/2. Just couldn't get used to that focal length on a rangefinder, plus the close focus of the Oly will be very nice to have.
