Sony Which lens should I take to the beach today?

It's a really nice clear day so thought I'd load up the bike and take it down to the beach for a ride.
What lens should I take on my A7ii?
Native or old manual focus?
24mm?
35mm?
50mm?
100mm?
Any help would be appreciated.

If you’re only taking one, my vote is for the 35 or 50.

That's a good lens. If it were me, it would be my Canon 50/1.4 LTM but that one will be an excellent choice.

I really enjoy this little lens. Not too big, not too small. Love the look I get from the pictures too. Here's a few from this mornings ride at the beach. They were having Veteran's Day activities so it was a little on the crowded side.

It is a rare day when you can see the Isimith(sp?) on Catalina Island. It's behind that oil platform on the far right:

All the smog got blown out there that's why it has brown tinge to the image.

I'd normally suggest ethanol or similar for adhesive tape, but NOT in this case.

I recently successfully removed some double sided tape from a Pentax lens cap with ethanol......along with a large amount of plastic.

I'd recommend 3m Scotch Blue #2090, reusable and no residue

It's not expensive and it works for a variety of duties

Try a silicone based furniture cleaner, such as "Mr Sheen". It's great for removing the residue left by price tags on book dust jackets and similar.

I used 90% IPA and it worked well, may need to do just a little touch up as the camera sees better than I do. [I love playing with my cameras like this, note the exif data.]
