Lens Wide Angle MFD Shootout

Now that I have the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 I thought it would be fun to try all of my wide angle lenses at their minimum focus distance. All pictures were shot at f/11 and with a single MF12 flash at 1/8 power

I've applied the same processing in Affinity Photo 2 to all of them - 20/65 detail refinement and then black & white conversion using my custom setting to make the colours look correct relative to each other.

Now that I have jumped ship to Sony, I have "three" new lenses to test. This took a little while to do because I only got a Godox flash trigger today, so this is also my first try out with flash on Sony.

First the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 via a Nikon->Sony Adaptor

Next the same lens, but this time through the Magic Shift Adapter, which makes this lens effectively a 17mm f/4

Finally the Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 which I picked up as an "equivalent" to the Fuji 16mm f/1.4

Latest addition to the line up is a (loaner) Canon TSE 24mm f/3.5 II

This is via a Sigma MC-11 adapter, judging by the EXIF it looks like it thinks the Canon is a Sigma lens
