Looks like a great spring in Arizona. In early March we did a spring trip to Arizona to get away from the snowiest winter on record in northern Utah. While there, did a half day trip in a part of the Sonoran Desert...the desert always looks the best in spring. This was the only patch of wildflowers I ran across...mostly Poppy's, Lupine, Globe Mallow and Notched-leaf Phacelia.View attachment 376619View attachment 376620View attachment 376621View attachment 376622View attachment 376623View attachment 376625View attachment 376626View attachment 376627View attachment 376628
Is that first photo a red trillium? That is so cool. From today's bike ride with my wife. I was hoping to find Wild Ginger or Bluebells, but these were nice to find.

It is. We also have a large White Trillium, and one I rarely see, a Painted Trillium with white leaves and a splash of red across the middle. Is that first photo a red trillium? That is so cool.
Great shot Brian. Do you get garlic like that too?I forgot to upload this one, taken just a fortnight ago on our last bike ride.
My wife always makes me travel this one road in early spring to enjoy the spectacle of the snowdrops.
They extend on the hillside for around 100 yards or so, so these pictured are merely just a "few" of them!

I don't suppose they are truly wild, as someone must have planted some original ones many moons ago.
Yes Charles, lots of woodland areas round here are covered in wild garlic, which we tend to avoid because of the awful pong!Great shot Brian. Do you get garlic like that too?
