In early March we did a spring trip to Arizona to get away from the snowiest winter on record in northern Utah. While there, did a half day trip in a part of the Sonoran Desert...the desert always looks the best in spring. This was the only patch of wildflowers I ran across...mostly Poppy's, Lupine, Globe Mallow and Notched-leaf Phacelia.

Looks like a great spring in Arizona.
 
I forgot to upload this one, taken just a fortnight ago on our last bike ride.
My wife always makes me travel this one road in early spring to enjoy the spectacle of the snowdrops.
They extend on the hillside for around 100 yards or so, so these pictured are merely just a "few" of them!

I don't suppose they are truly wild, as someone must have planted some original ones many moons ago. :)
