It's been a dreary winter here in the NW of England. Grey skies of low-hanging cloud, bare-branched trees, dull light with not a shadow being cast, and a grey river flowing past our apartment. So when I fling open the curtains and find the sun has made a showing I grab the camera and snap a few shots. The pics that follow are all taken from our bedroom window. The river is the Mersey on it's way to Liverpool and the Irish Sea. All pics were taken on the X-T2 and 18-135mm lens. JPGs are straight out the camera using Velvia film simulation. I've just had my first cataract operation and will probably revert to Provia or another gentler FS once both eyes are done. I can't believe I've had light sepia filters embedded in both my eyes for the last 10 years or so! I hope you enjoy the pics.
