Same general location as the previous image. Interesting thing about this tree, the root growing horizontally to the left
Is the only source of sustenance the tree has. The rock that the tree grows on was once part of the shore rocks,
but a collapse and erosion cut the tree off from any other native soil, so it lives on! Tough old bugger, that one, and famous for its perseverance.

A trio of shots from the Peak District in Derbyshire on 28th February, with some messing about with DxO Filmpack
First, looking across the Hope Valley to a view of the Breedon Hope Cement Works in the distance, on a footpath just off the Old Mam Tor road.

Sweating a little by this point, climbing up to Hollins Cross - looking over to the collapsed section of the Mam Tor road. I used the Kodak Ektar 100 rendering for this one.

Finally up on the Great Ridge itself, looking over into the next valley (Edale) and bracing for the incoming rain!
