Today I spent a few hour cleaning the Rajasthan folder, remaining with about 1200 pics to be re-examined and eventually purged (past statistics show I'd get about 700 when I'm done). Here a few people on the street for you to enjoy:
Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Clustered around the Jamaa Masjid are hundreds of little alleys, temples, shops, homes. It's the place to be when in Delhi to feel what's going on. People are packed tight, and uniformly kind.

In the Sikh Temple volounteers prepare food to give out to the people in need, while 35°C outside make it serious work.

And everybody seems to be business-ready, anytime:

For the people waiting to enter the mosque, we are the show

Then, step forward a few days in Jaipur, time to market

And back, out of the Palace of the Winds

On the road out of town they prepare for the festival

When we reach Ajmer, kids head home from school, and we head to the sanctuary.

Evening later, in Udaipur, preparing

and celebrating, for it's The Day

Going to Kumbhalgarh, we stop on the road and meet ladies waiting for the bus

Here's why we often get them to smile

Then in Ghanerao, walking around, constantly drinking streams of chai and soft drinks, and meeting people

This town is moving fast, and they are proud of their young ones.

In Jodhpur we come back from the fort, and stop for business

Some are more proactive in selling, some less

And in the end in Mandawa, I think that guy has never seen someone having breakfast!
