Fuji Would Fuji MHG-XT hand grip fit X-T2 camera?

The new grip for the X-T2 is called MHG-XT2. Only available in one size AFAIK. Obviously, the T1 grips don't fit.

I asked Fuji Canada reps the same question in person at the official Toronto announcement in July and got the same answer, also confirmed subsequently by my dealers.
